- Detalis: GYNEMED GM501 Wash is a ready-to-use medium formulated for washing human oocytes and embryos and for other short-term handling procedures outside of the incubator, including steps such as washing after hyaluronidase treatment (denudation), ICSI, polar body or blastomere biopsy, and similar manipulations. GYNEMED Composition & Specifications Contains salts (NaCl, KCl, KH₂PO₄, MgSO₄·7H₂O, CaCl₂·2H₂O), NaHCO₃, glucose, lactate, pyruvate, EDTA, Alanyl-Glutamine, amino acids, HEPES (15 mM), and human serum albumin at 5.00 g/L. GYNEMED +1 pH (37 °C, 6 % CO₂): 7.20 – 7.50 Hamilton Thorne +1 Osmolality: 270 – 290 mOsm/kg GYNEMED Sterility: Sterile, SAL = 10⁻³ (Sterility Assurance Level) GYNEMED Endotoxin: < 0.25 EU/mL GYNEMED MEA performance: ≥ 80 % of embryos reach blastocyst stage after 96 h (with 60 min exposure at zygote stage) GYNEMED +1 Usage Instructions The medium should be equilibrated overnight in a humidified CO₂ incubator (5–7 % CO₂, 37 °C) before use. Hamilton Thorne +1 For oocyte/embryo washing: prepare dishes with drops (15–100 µL) or larger volumes (0.5–1 mL) of GM501 Wash under oil, then pass oocytes/embryos through several droplets of the medium, following the lab’s protocol.
