Detalis: GM501 Hyaluronidase is a ready-to-use enzyme solution intended for laboratory fertilization (IVF/ICSI) use. It facilitates mechanical removal of cumulus cells surrounding the oocyte by digesting the hyaluronic acid component of the cumulus-oocyte complex. Composition & Quality Specifications Concentration: 80 IU/mL hyaluronidase, pharmaceutical grade, bovine origin. Buffer: HEPES-buffered medium. Includes 4.00 g/L human serum albumin. pH: 7.30 - 7.60 at 37 °C. Osmolality: 270-290 mOsm/kg. Sterility: Sterile, SAL 10⁻³ (Sterility Assurance Level). Endotoxin level: < 1.00 EU/mL. MEA performance: ≥ 80% blastocyst rate after 96 hours when zygotes are exposed for 30 minutes to the solution. Instructions for Use Warm GM501 Hyaluronidase to 37 °C before use. Because it is HEPES-buffered, incubation in a CO₂ incubator is not required; using CO₂ may lower the pH below 7. Use volume depending on culture dish type: 100 µL for micro-drops or 400-600 µL for center-/4-well dishes for denudation (removal of cumulus). Prepare 3-5 drops (~100 µL each) of washing medium (e.g. GM501 Wash) to wash oocytes after denudation. Cover culture dishes with mineral oil (e.g. GM501 Mineral Oil) to prevent evaporation. Place up to 5 oocytes in hyaluronidase solution for about 30 seconds. ([turn0search2][turn0search1]) Using a fine pipette, transfer partially denuded oocytes to first wash drop. Remove remaining corona cells by repeated pipetting. Then wash oocytes in additional wash drops. Storage & Stability Shelf life: 12 months from manufacturing. Storage temperature: 2-8 °C. Do not freeze; keep away from sunlight. After opening, use within 7 days if sterile conditions are maintained and storage at 2-8 °C. Not re-sterilizable after opening. Precautions & Warnings The enzyme is of bovine origin. Source is certified not to contain neural tissue; animals from negligible BSE risk countries. Standard biosafety precautions: treat all specimens as potentially infectious. Product contains no antibiotics; strict sterile handling required (e.g. ISO-5 laminar flow hood).
