Detalis: GM501 Flush is a ready-to-use medium specifically formulated for flushing ovarian follicles during aspiration and/or oocyte pick-up in assisted reproductive technologies. Gynemed +2 Gynemed +2 Composition & Specifications The medium contains: NaCl, KCl, KH₂PO₄, MgSO₄·7H₂O, NaHCO₃, CaCl₂·2H₂O, D(+)-Glucose, Na-Lactate (50% solution), Na-Pyruvate, EDTA, Alanyl-Glutamine, essential & non-essential amino acids, HEPES buffer, and 2.5 IU/mL Heparin. Gynemed +1 Gentamicin sulfate can be added by the user (10 mg/L) optionally. Gynemed +1 Instructions for Use Equilibration / Warming: Warm GM501 Flush to 37 °C overnight (no CO₂, closed lid) because it's HEPES-buffered; placing it in a CO₂ incubator will lower the pH. Gynemed +1 Oocyte Collection / Flushing: • Use 20-50 mL of medium per aspiration (or refill if needed). Gynemed +1 • Attach syringe (rubber-free) with proper Luer connection to the needle / tubing. Gynemed +1 • During aspiration, if a follicle is emptied without retrieving an ovum, the follicle may be refilled with GM501 Flush and aspirated again (flushing). This may be repeated, refilling syringe each time, until ovum is recovered or the follicle is abandoned (e.g. after 3 flush attempts).
